Hopefully you can see the top and bottom layer here. There is a gray thread on the left edge in both layers if that helps you see the layers distinctly. Because I clear this shed all the way before manipulating the pattern threads, you can see that half of the pattern threads are already in the upper shed. They are going to stay there no matter when I do at the string heddle, so that leaves the whole band looking freckled.</image:caption></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://crossandloop.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/0310181330.jpg</image:loc><image:title>0310181330</image:title></image:image><image:image><image:loc>https://crossandloop.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/0310181331a-e1520795299442.jpg</image:loc><image:title>0310181331a</image:title><image:caption>My extra heddles are those blue-gray strings up top of this picture. I know this doesn't look very interesting, but trust me, they are. I haven't pulled them up yet in this picture, but you can see I've opened one of the plain sheds and drawn the shuttle down to the weaving line.</image:caption></image:image><lastmod>2018-03-11T19:27:01+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>weekly</changefreq><priority>0.6</priority></url><url><loc>https://crossandloop.com/temporary-picking-cross-forever/</loc><image:image><image:loc>https://crossandloop.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/picking-cross-e1520792487120.jpg</image:loc><image:title>Picking cross</image:title><image:caption>I've already picked the pattern threads and they are being held on the purple thing, so you can't see the complete cross held on my fingers.
